Carriageworks Farmers Market

A visit to the Farmers’ Market in the heart of Sydney wouldn't be complete if I didn't get some gritty Black and White photos. And a coffee at Chapter Five just outside Redfern station. You'd be nodding your head vigorously if you knew me. Eveleigh Markets, also known as Farmers or Artisan Markets, specialises in seasonal and homemade produce, with many stalls selling the best regional New South Wales offers. It seemed less crowded this morning, but we went there relatively late after umming and ahhing. It worked in our favour.

Having returned from India only last week, everything seems so expensive in Australia. Typically Sydney! Fifty Australian dollars could feed a family of four for nearly a week In India. I feel terrible having splurged $120 on just a single outing. They say don't go hungry to the shops, or you might buy things you don't need. We did have a lovely brekky at home, but it still didn't stop us from splurging. It is good to support local Aussie businesses and buy fresh produce. So I feel a little less guilty. For now!
